In 1975, the Intercommunity Counseling Center was established by Whittier churches to meet personal and community needs. Now 33 years later, help is still available to anyone experiencing individual, marital, family or relationship issues.
It's mission is to provide professional counseling with a sensitivity to the spiritual needs of every person, regardless of race, creed or color. The staff is composed of Master and Doctoral level students, as well as Marriage, Family and Child Counselors (MFCC) and a Psychologist.
The Center is sensitive to each client's financial needs. Fees are based on family size and income. Fee assistance is available.
St. Andrew Lutheran Church is a sponsoring congregation of the Intercommunity Counseling Center as an associate church. We are thankful that three of our members are actively involved. John Hoffman is President, Joy Hoffman serves on the Center's Board of Directors and Rebecca Eberle-Romberger is the Executive Director.

does tremendous work with incredible efficiency,
but their resources are presently very low and they are in in desperate need of supplies, particularly:
+canned tuna or chicken +beef stew +canned beans (any kind) +dry beans +chili +hearty soups +canned pastas
+noodles, macaroni +rice +canned fruit +jelly +peanut butter +pancake mix +baking mix +cereal +oatmeal
+granola bars +baby food +formula
+shampoo +toothpaste +soap
