The Interfaith Food Center is a non-faith based, non-profit 501(c)(3) charity distributing food to the needy families and homeless of Whittier and La Mirada.
More than 700 households are served on a weekly basis from a 2520 sq. foot warehouse/distribution facility.
Today, Interfaith Food Center is one of the largest food pantries in the state of California.
Yearly, more than a million pounds of food are placed in the hands of individuals. Food is obtained from the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank, local markets, churches, community organizations,and individual donors.
